The Chinese know their French well, French cuisine that is.  A good proof of this is Caprice, a restaurant inside the Four Seasons Hotel that specializes in French cuisine.  Caprice is proud of its wine collection, offering a good list of select French and European wines from world-renowned vineyards.  Just from the name of the place, you know it’s going to be classy.  Add the French cuisine and the specialty wine, you’d be in for lavish and royal feast.

Another thing that makes Caprice a renowned dining establishment in Hong Kong is its Michelin stars.  It is one of the seven restaurants in Hong Kong that was awarded two Michelin stars.  One star is an achievement in itself, but to be given two, that means your food has got to be really good. Caprice knows too well not to disappoint its customers.  It offers fine French dining at its best.  With different selections on the menu, diners have a wide selection of meals to choose from.  It also has a specialized menu for vegetarians, and as with all high-class restaurants, it has a tasting menu to fully appreciate all that Caprice has to offer.

Should you want to try Caprice for yourself, just go to the 6th level of the Four Seasons Hotel.  It opens for lunch at 12 noon and takes last orders for the evening meal at 10:30 pm.  There is no need for reservations, but with the Caprice’s reputation for good food and classy dining, it’s advisable that you reserve a table.  The dress code is business casual, so better keep those shorts and sneakers for the meantime and go with your smart clothes.  The price is what you’d expect from a high-class French restaurant.  The classic reason is that you get what you paid for, and in the case of Caprice, that is certainly true.
