Bo Innovation: Fusion of the Ancient and the Modern
Though Chinese cuisine is has a long but wonderful tradition, it doesn’t mean that it can’t be made better. And that is what Bo Innovation has done with Chinese cuisine. By taking in centuries-old Chinese dishes and experimenting with new tastes using non-Chinese ingredients and cooking techniques, the result is a new concoction of sights and flavors that is both Chinese and modern.
The man responsible for such creative dishes is Alvin Leung Jr. Educated, raised, and well-traveled in the West, Leung was able to integrate the different flavors from the places he visited to the traditional dishes of China. His visage tells it all; Leung does not look like your traditional chef. Sporting a “rock star” look and attitude, this attitude is well incorporated into his unique dishes. Leung is not just some maverick or mad scientist just mixing up food randomly. The taste and quality of his food was recognized by the Michelin Guide by giving him two stars. That is a big thing in the restaurant world. A single star is enough honor as it is, and so the two stars would mean your food is really great. You can expect that when you dine at Bo Innovation, you’re in for a great treat.
The menu changes all the time, so the food and dishes are always fresh and exciting. You can try the classic “bo” dishes such as the lap mei fan, the “bo” sashimi platter for Dim Sum. But to get a full taste of what Bo Innovation is offering, you can always try one of the two tasting menus to sample the genius of the restaurant. Prices are fair, and you really will get what you paid for when it comes to taste and service. If you want a fresh take on traditional Chinese cuisine, then try out Bo Innovation.
